PURA_VIDAPATAGONIA strongly believes that our gear is an essential part of the good quality of our service.
We make use of the latest gear, and keep it in compliance with the highest quality standards through exhaustive yearly testing.

Kayaking gear

We use double kayaks (for two people) with retractable rudder in our outings, all being touring models imported from Canada. Their design makes them very stable, easy to maneuver, and quite comfortable. As they are built in plastic, they are very resistant. Each kayak has its registration number, and has been tested by naval engineers.
Spray-skirts are made of neoprene, and come in different sizes. Neoprene keeps the kayaker protected from the water and the cold.
Paddles are of the touring type, with an angle for ease of movement.
Each passenger is provided with a waterproof jacket, PDF, and neoprene gloves.

Camping gear

During those trips that take up several days, PURA_VIDAPATAGONIA provides all the necessary cooking material and igloo-type tents for 2 and 3 passengers, which in many cases must be shared as many of our outings are true self-sufficient kayaking expeditions. In other words, we take with us as much as our kayaks will allow.
You only need to bring along your sleeping bag and insulation pad. If you do not have these items, the agency can rent them for you.
